Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is Belarusian born in Minsk. Her father Sergey (d. in 2019) was an Ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born Minsk, Belarus on May 5 1998. Her 12 WTA singles wins comprise one Grand Slam, the 2023 Australian Open. When it comes to doubles, she's also a great player. She's been a winner of two majors along with Elise Mertens: The US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. Alongside the Belgian tennis player, she also won her the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells and Miami in 2019 thus making the Sunshine Double. Four women's teams have achieved this achievement. In January 2023, she achieved her highest rank in singles. On 23rd August, 2021 she was promoted to number two in World rankings. Following her victory at the Melbourne doubles competition in February of 2021 She was able rise up the rankings to take the first spot on the list of that particular specialty. Dmitry Tursunov, a former Russian tennis player, was her coach her during her 2018 season to the end and part of this season in 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was briefly with her between August and September of 2020. She is being trained by her native countryman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams is her role for a role model, closely followed by Maria Sharapova.
